CLASS DESCRIPTION
Join award-winning artist, author, educator, and scientist John Muir Laws @johnmuirlaws, aka Jack, for this fun, engaging, and empowering class on capturing water in your nature journal—from mountain streams to still lakes to wild waterfalls. In this 2-hour recorded class, you will learn how to draw landscapes with water features as well as how to show water in motion, how to represent the many colors of water, and how to add that sparkle of light on water. With his signature playfulness and good humor, Jack will demonstrate his best tips and techniques--using pencil, watercolor, gouache, and gel pen--for drawing water that he has learned through his 35 years of teaching, illustrating, and journaling. All ages and levels are welcome.
John Muir Laws, aka Jack, is the award-winning author and illustrator of the Laws Guide to Nature Drawing and Journaling, Sierra Wildflowers, and the Laws Guide to the Sierra Nevada, among other books.
