DETAILS:
This past January, the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles, California, tore through the community, damaging or destroying more than 10,000 structures—including the beloved Eaton Canyon Nature Center. In the face of this loss, the people of Altadena are coming together to support each other and rebuild. Let’s be part of that effort!

What to Expect:

  • Trivia competition with FUN and prizes for top teams! Be ready to flex your knowledge of California nature. (Hint: Want a competitive edge? Listen to past podcast episodes from Golden State Naturalist! Most questions will come directly from the podcast. )

  • Silent auction featuring eco-friendly experiences and products

  • Lively atmosphere with plenty of laughs (and maybe a well-placed swear word or two)

  • Beer, wine, and food available for purchase

How to Participate:

  • Assemble a team of 3-5 or come solo and get matched with new friends (no worries—we'll facilitate this when you arrive)

  • Arrive at 6:00 PM to mingle, grab a drink and/or bite, check out the auction, and find your team.

  • Trivia starts promptly at 6:30 PM—don’t be late!

  • Parking can be scarce, so use public transit or carpool if you can, and if you drive, allow extra time to find a spot.

Let’s help bring back Eaton Canyon Nature Center together. 100% of net proceeds from this event will go to the LA County Parks Foundation’s Eaton Canyon Nature Center fundLACPF is a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for equitable access to parks and recreation in Los Angeles County.
